Here is not a problem but just a suggestion for the spanish translation of Lightroom.

DEVELOP module / EFFECTS panel / POST-CROP VIGNETTING section / STYLE pop-up menu:
In the spanish version of Lr 5.2 the option "Highlight Priority" has been translated as "Resaltar prioridad" while it should better be "Prioridad de Iluminación" or "Prioridad de Altas luces", since "highlight" is used as a noun and not as a verb ("resaltar" is a verb in spanish)

"Resaltar prioridad" in spanish could be interpreted as something like "give more importance to a priority" which is certainly not what "Highlight Priority" means.
Hope this could be useful for future updates.

Raul -

Thanks for the suggestion. I handle localization of Photoshop, and I forwarded this to our production so they would validate your comment and make the change next time Lightroom is released.

Raul, we connected with our translation team. Here is what they write:

"We have reviewed the suggestions below and agree that this translation could be changed. However, our linguists chose to translate it as ‘Iluminación prioritaria’."

What do you think - is this acceptable?

Thank you.

Well, Iuori, the Highlight Priority mode in Post-crop Vignetting actually tries to keep the highlights to mantain some contrast at the corners of the image, exactly where the vignetting applies creating an underexposed area.
IMHO, the expression ‘Iluminación prioritaria’ would not be as accurate to this concept as ‘Prioridad de Iluminación’. In fact, I'm using the same criteria used to translate other of the Vignetting styles - ‘Color Priority’ - as ‘Prioridad de Color’ and not as ‘Color Prioritario’.

Raúl
