Working with Lightroom 6 and was asked to upgrade my catalog. Now that I've done that, my catalog stops at 2013. Lost three years worth of pictures. Can someone help please?

I would suspect you upgraded a backup of your catalog and not the main catalog. If you go to where you catalog is saved, are there other more recent catalogs than the one you updated? (User>Pictures>Lightroom>)

I don't want to wait and find or workout now by my own what might be happening to You, but instead at least rapidly encourage You to not panic, to refrain any temptation to do anything that might look like attempts to tiding up for more clarity. Doing so might turn out to be counterproductive overreacting.

Good you asked, wait and check but don't change things before you know in advance that it will remedy all. ( Contact Adobe helpline is an option too, but NOT necessarily good to trust blindly unrevocable "standard proceedures" !) Keep ask, maybe also directly to LR evangelist's sites.

Yes you did and thanks a lot for your help. I assume I responded via the Facebook page to Rikk. What I said is it is wonderful to know that people respond to questions even you don't know them. Thank you so very much and please keep responding to people "in need" :)
I am back and running and I learned a lot. I already have 3 back-ups for my pictures but never had an answer for the catalog.
