I have my laptop hooked up to a thunderbolt display monitor for dual screen image editing. However, when I pull a .jpeg image from my laptop screen to my monitor screen, the window goes black. Pulling it back to the laptop screen brings it back up. I have tried to play around with display settings but am having no luck. Any advice?

Which application are you using?
Which version?
Which OS version?

Please install the 10.9.5 update - Apple seems to have fixed some video driver bugs in that update.
If it still happens after that, then you need to report the problem to Apple so they can get more details needed to fix the driver/OS bug.

Worked perfectly. Amazing what simply updating will do! Thanks so much!
