I have a couple of JDI suggestions:
1. Add a "Localized Colour Clusters" type function to the "Blend If" sliders.
2. 3D Layer Styles.

Sigh. JDI means "just do it" - simple, small things that won't take a lot of time.

But you don't know what will take time and what won't.
So you should just suggest features and let the engineers determine how long they'll take.

Hint: neither of your suggestions are anywhere close to a JDI feature.

1) That's a lot like creating a layer mask from the colors of the layer and the layers underneath, plus a painted mask. But what are you trying to solve? Where do you think it would be useful?

2) That could mean several things. Could you provide more detail? How do you think it would work? When do you think it would be useful?
