Howdy Aamir,

Officially, Photoshop doesn't support Urdu. We do have some unofficial support, but it's not complete. Part of what we do not handle is nastaleeq scripts -- we do not have a good mechanism to handle the baseline shift. This is actually a topic which we've been discussing recently.

With that in mind, let me try and give some help for each of these issues. I do not have a copy of this font and am not sure where to get it. So I'm just sharing what I know based on the app, not on practical applications with this font.

If the font is substituted, that's Photoshop's way of saying that it cannot support the font.

The collision you have in the next example is unfortunate but reasonable as we do not have a way to avoid glyph collisions. We simply don't have a good algorithm to address layouts using nastaleeq. That's also the reason why vertical character placement and spacing between words is off.

The low quality resolution, however, would be an issue with the font. We do handle vectors correctly.

If you can point me to where I can find this font, I may be able to offer more help.

Thanks,
David
