It's 2020, why am a forced to pick a folder every time I export a photo? Every other app on the planet remembers the last directory used.

Would you prefer NOT to know where the export will be placed? That's like making an ATM bank deposit without a bank account number!

No, just want the dialog to have to last folder used already selected. Simple.

It does remember the last used folder location, but gives you the option to change it. If this were not provided how would you expect to change it? Use the CTRL+ SHFT + E keys and then hit the Return key twice.

What I think you're asking for is the 'Export With Previous' function (CTRL + ALT + SHFT + E keys) available in LR Classic, which would reduce it to one keystroke.

I'm using Lightroom CC Desktop. When I choose an export option, the dialog pops up with no folder selected and 'Select a Folder' and 'Cancel' buttons. I have hunted, but not found a way to have the dialog pop up with the last folder selected, as in 'Lightroom Saved Photos'.

David, it remembers the last folder used and is selected on my Windows 10 system using LR Desktop 3.2. Show us a screenshot.

Ok, I've been stupid. I presumed I had to click on the folder above to populate the Folder field. Of course it works if I just click on Select Folder without doing so. Feel free to mock me mercilessly.

I've been using LR (AKA Classic) since 1.0 and very comfortable with the interface. The LR Desktop app is confusing to me as well! It's also lacking many features available in LR Classic.
