Issues saving brushes in lightroom CC

I'm using saved brushes to do stuff all the time since LR 4. I will use a really simple example to help understand, but if more details are needed, I can add more.

I have a brush saved as "Clarity -50". Of course, that brush has Clarity at -50 and was like that since LR4.

Now, in LRCC, That brush is at -100. I tried to put it back at -50 and update it. It goes back to -100 each time I select it. Tried to save it under a new name, went back to -100 also.

I'm pretty sure there is an issue with some saved brushes.

If you create a new pristine clarity brush that is totally unrelated to your previously saved presets and save it, does it work?

I did try to delete the previous brush and create a new one. It went back to -100 when I restarted LR.

This might be relevant, my brushes are set to not save with the catalog. Also, I'm on PC.

I will try to do some more testing with the brushes tonight as I am not at home right now. Let me know if you need any specific tests to be done by then. Thanks.

Next thing to try is to reset your preferences file.

Close Lightroom. Hold down [Alt][Shift] while you relaunch Lightroom. When you receive the Preferences dialog, choose to overwrite the preferences. After, are you able to create the brush you desire?
