Photoshop CS4: Licensing issue restoring from backup on iMac

Hi Team,

I have restored a backup of Photoshop CS4 to a new HD on my iMac but get a licensing error when I attempt to run the APP. I have tried the repair tool but get the I get the following

No matching processes were found
Shutting down licensing service ..

* Tool exited with status = 32512.

Can you assist.

What was the exact error you were getting when launching Photoshop?

I'd suspect the root cause is that the licensing files weren't restored correctly. Usually reinstalling (or simply running the installer again) will repair/replace the licensing files and you can license the product after the repair with your serial #.
