Issue: Folder visibility change freezes Photoshop

Photoshop does not respond any more after grouping elements in a folder and trying to change the visibility of that folder. I have to stop the task via the task-manager and restart Photoshop to get it working again. This issue is repeatable. Any ideas?

Thanks and best regards!

I can't reproduce that.
What version of Photoshop are you using?
What OS version are you using?

And if you had a crash, then you wouldn't have anything to stop via the task manager. Is the application crashing, or freezing -- because those are very different behaviors.

Right you are - it's not a crash, photoshop just stops responding. Here are some of my system-infos - tell me if you need the rest:

Adobe Photoshop Version: 2014.2.2 20141204.r.310 2014/12/04:23:59:59 CL 994532 x64
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1
System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:10, Stepping:7 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX
Physical processor count: 4
Processor speed: 3292 MHz
Built-in memory: 8172 MB
Free memory: 5176 MB

I could send you the file where this happens and tell you what to do to reproduce the behavior too.

Best regards!

Yes, it looks like I'll need the file. Zip it and send (email or file sharing service) to ccox AT adobe DOT com.
