Is there a way to open SOME jpgs in Camera Raw without Bridge ?

I don't know if this is supposed to be an idea or a question, so i develop :

Sometimes i have to process photographs, like one or two at a time, no more. The rest of the time i process web graphics or anything else.
If i want to process those pictures through camera raw (because honestly it's a wonderful tool (toy?)), i have two choices :

1. open bridge and cmd-R (open in Camera Raw) my images
2. go inside photoshop/preferences/file handling/camera raw and set "open all jpg files". Then later i have to uncheck this...

So is there some magic shortcut that will allow me to open any desired jpeg file inside camera raw, from within photoshop (or even better, from the desktop), without needing bridge, or without having to set/reset a preference ?

To open JPEG's in Camera Raw on a case by case basis you can choose File>Open... in Photoshop, click on the JPEG(s) you want to open and choose "Camera Raw" from the format pop-up. (This works without having to toggle the preference)

Let me know if that works for you.
