PHOTOSHOP: is there a fast way to change photos in triangle collage?

i made a triangle collage with 50 pictures and it took me like 4 hours
now i want to change the pictures and make another collage.
is there a fast way to do that? like to make it a template and then just drug a picture to the triangle?

How did you make it?
If you used Layer Masks or Vector Masks or even if you just created clipped Layers switching the individual triangles’ content should not be too hard.

I used vector masks, can you please tell me how can I change the pictures without making a whole new collage?? :)

You can just drag in the new images and drag the Vector Masks over from the old elements. (This might be partially Action-able.)
Or if the Layers are Smart Objects use Replace Contents.

If there is
• either some clear automatable pattern to how new images are supposed to replace old ones (both with regard to positions and size)
• or it can be done completely random
you could ask for help automaton the task over at

But creating a Script would hardly seem worth the trouble if it were but a one-time task.
