Is it possible to synchronize the sets and photos published to flickr between multiple computers? I frenquently travel and on that occasions use my laptop for on-site editing. Once I am back home I import the photos from the trip on my desktop computer. All flickr settings performed on my laptop are gone with that and I could not find a solution to get them back, so that e.g. lightroom recognizes that a photo from the trip needs to be republished because I did the final editing on the desktop computer.

Not at this time.

The publish services are one-way affairs, with an exported rendition being published and republished via a foreign API, and the remote ID being tied to a local ID in a Collection.

A true synchronization service would be a lot of more complicated, and would be impacted by the foreign API.

I wouldn't even need a full synchronize. Just a way to get the settings from one catalog (on the laptop) to another (on the desktop). As I am importing the photos at the same time this shouldn't be a huge problem.

There's a plug-in called Lightroom Voyager which can assist with transferring settings, within the limitations of the SDK. http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/lrvoyager/
