Lightroom Classic: Is there any way to tell it I always want to edit the original file?

I am spending lots of my time running "Edit In..." on various files in Lightroom (mostly running files through Photoshop droplets). It is annoying to have to wait until LR puts up the dialog that asks if I want to edit the file or a copy of the file each time. Is there any way to ask Lightroom to run an application on the original file always?

The "Edit in..." dialog remembers the last choice so it's just a quick Cmd (Ctrl) - E , Return to get the original into Photoshop once you've done it the first time. When editing JPGs there isn't a way to bypass the dialog box.

Yes, Rick, except that if you have 100 images selected, it takes a while for dialog to come up. I go off to make a cup of tea while a lengthy operation in Photoshop is (I think) completing, and I come back to see this pesky dialog telling me that it hasn't even started.
