We had a family professional family photo done and there is someone in the very back of the photo that I would like to edit out. Can it be done?

Photoshopping someone out of a photo involves replacing where they are with realistic-looking made-up content.  Are you enough of an artist to paint where he is with the mantle, fireplace, and Christmas decoration?

One thought would be to move the women to the right over a bit into his spot so you can use a reflection of the lefthand mantle and fireplace edge but there's still quite a bit to make up which you might be able to do with cloning.

The picture would prove to be a bit tricky and would take a lot of manipulation. not impossible

Let me know what you think. Looked for the lamp behind the mans head to replace but came up blank.

If you have another shot of the same background without a person in that place, then it would be easy enough to copy that background into where the guy (or lady) was.

Just be aware that someone else retouching that photo is a copyright violation. Does Adobe allow that sort of transaction on this board?
