Please report Windows 10 beta test issues to Microsoft, so they can get more information and fix the OS bugs.

This problem exists for both CS6 and CC after a day of messing around trying to get it to work. I accept that it's not Adobe's problem, however, it would have been nice to know you guys were working on it. Microsoft? Ok looks like I'll be working on textures again in a few months :(

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya_Yr... Video documentation of the problem if interested. Thanks for the reply to Ryle's question!

Also I already have submitted a feedback post to Microsoft but I was only the 2nd person to send feedback about this issue, even though I've seen 4 unique people with the problem. Hopefully they decide it's worth their time to send feedback (Considering they're using the OS for free, and one can only hope people want things to improve, let alone work).

Just opened a new file on a fresh install of Windows 10 Technical Preview and I seem to be having the same issue!

Semi temporary fix : ctrl+space+mouse 1 and move mouse forward/back to zoom in and out. Still focuses on point location, but feels semi-off to me. Will work as a temporary fix though!

All credit to Billy Pavlos who posted on my youtube video about this.

Yes I can confirm this bug as well. Very frustrating lol. But then again, I can't complain since I am running preview. However, definitely want to get this on the radar. I didn't realize how much I zoomed in and out until I couldn't.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
PHOTOSHOP, WINDOWS 10 BETA : I can't zoom using the scroll wheel when mouse pointer is in the work space or document window..

I can't zoom using the scroll wheel when mouse pointer is in the work space or document window. Though it works fine if the mouse pointer is pointed on the rulers, palette menus, or sliders.

i had the same problem too but i found a workaround by installing a mouse overriding software like KatMouse on my system. After that the scroll function works just like what it did back before windows 10 was installed. i hope Microsoft fixes this issue.

Thank you so much! Oh my god, I'd never heard of "KatMouse" but the original idea for it is amazing, and it fixed the photoshop issue. Thank you SO MUCH. Can not describe level of gratefulness right now Sir/Madam. :)

Everybody, google katmouse.. its purpose is explained in the first sentence of their website. Also, fixes zoom w/ scrollwheel.

Didn't work for me. When I installed KatMouse, my scroller stopped functioning altogether.

I actually wrote up a blog post about this here: http://brianleejackson.com/cant-scrol... Gave you props @Rush. At least for now we have two workarounds that seem to work pretty good. Although as I say in the post, I highly recommend everyone use the feedback tool to report this issue to MS.

It appears to be fixed in the latest preview build.

Edit: Build #9860
