Is Adobe trying to rip off the public with 3rd party vendors?

adobe is doing a terrible job with its support.
I am getting 3ed party help and trying to see me computer support saying my computer is infected with vireses which is not true
I have question about my elemenets 12 photo shop and need help with that

This does not sound like one of our agents - and is likely a phishing attempt.

We have received reports where some members of the Jive community (forums.adobe.com) who are posing as Adobe Employees are private messaging customers. They are offering to help troubleshoot issues personally using technologies such as Skype as a means to gain access to your computer and potentially your personal information.

All Adobe employees are required to have an orange ‘STAFF’ badge next to their user profile which can be seen if you mouse-over their profile picture.

Do you have a case #?

I only see 2 case notes for our agents from back in 2014.
