We can't really comment on future releases. That said, Android is supported through the PhotoshopTouch SDK so hopefully other developers will come out with cool Photoshop companion apps for Android, RIM tablets and other multi-touch OSes.

Using Photoshop and Lightroom as part of my work flow, now with the availability of the BlackBerry Playbook, it would be great to have that be part of the work flow. I know there is support for the Ipad but not interested in the Ipad while the Playbook has huge potential. Would like to see alternatives rather than sandbox to Apple Ecosystem and Adobe should know how Apple support them on Flash and created alternative programs like Aperature and Final Cut directly competing against Adobe.

The Touch SDK supports RIM - so it would just take a developer to create apps for it. What are you looking for in terms of 'support' for the playbook? The Touch Apps (Eazel, Color Lava and Nav)? Or something else? Your request was pretty vague.

Thanks Jeffrey for your reply....it is good to know that the Touch SDK supports RIM, I would just hate to see Apple get exclusive on this...Anyway yes, those are the Apps that I would be interest in...i.e. Eazel, Color Lava and Nav...I think they are brilliant...and I didn't want to go out and buy an Ipad just so that I can use them....thanks again.

Photoshop.com and all related toosl for the Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8!

Makes me so completely sad and depressed that Adobe has not developed for the Windows Phone 7 platform. Adobe Reader on WP7 really sucks... I open a document and need to be at p. 375 - takes a long time of swiping to get there.

Now all the Photoshop.com products - addons for Apple??? And Apple disses Adobe so badly. Stop working on products for those who hate you and develop for us on the bright side!

As a Mac user, I understand that the Apple ecosystem is the popular direction for design-minded users. It makes sense that when Adobe put out some touch-driven applications to interface with Photoshop, the iPad got the first treatment. My question is: will there be Android versions of the Eazel, Color Lava and Nav apps? I have two Android tablets and I'd love to see this technology available on the platform that I use already

I know that the Ipad came out the the extensions with the amazing touch applications, but are there going to be any extensions to be made for computers that have a mutli-touch screen, it would be awesome and I think that a lot of people would like this. I know that I will! Thank You, Jose!

Ive looked far and wide for some assurance and I cant get any. Does Adobe have in its plans to create applications for design and collaboration on android devices, specifically xoom. I understand iPad is MUCH more popular as a tablet and I understand the recent release of the SDK will encourage devs to do their work, but I am looking for a strong voiced commitment from adobe for developing compatible apps for its software suite. Autodesk has some powerful tools for mobile, I feel adobe should be on my device too. I love my xoom and its power and just want a hint of assurance.

Thank you for the merge on topic. I did find this article useful in that there was a discusion. But the pushing off of the discussion to the SDK for developers concerns me. Its great there is a door for devs to create products on these devices for the suite, but who knows adobe products better then adobe. I think a small thing like "android users are in our minds and hearts" would be nice.

We have announced future support for Android and Windows platforms for the new Adobe Carousel product. Android is definitely a platform Adobe wants support as we've always been a strong proponent of cross-platform compatibility.

What about Adobe Eazel? Will that be made available for Android too?

I am a teacher, in the middle leadership of a large school and one of my responsibilities is to lead the implementation of hand held devices across the school. Within the next month or so we will be ordering over 1200 Android based tablets so that every student and teacher has one.

I teach in a mainstream school and if we are this close to implementng such a large scale distribution then you can bet that a lot of other schools are too.

iPads are far too expensive for schools to entertain on such a large scale and so Android is set to blow iOS out of the water.

Personally, I find it increasingly frustrating that Apple gets all of the software support and Android gets left behind when Android is obviously much better value for money. I know that all of the creative, art and design departments in my school will want to have access to adobe Eazel.

Just looked at the complete range of touch apps and boy do I have to take everything I said (about Android not getting the support it deserves) back.

Well done Adobe, for providing Android with such comprehensive support!

Can't wait for these apps to be released and I will personally buy the entire suite. Do you think Adobe will package the entire suite for some kind of offer?

Also, given what I wrote about my school purchasing over 1200 Android tablets, do you think there will be any kind of volume licencing packages? I feel sure that schools will buy into this - big time.

It would be nice if we could have this amazing app as well instead of just iPad users. It would be even better if you also added the ability to add custom buttons for things such as actions and lesser known hotkeys... and perhaps a way to save a number of profiles for different workflows, and swipe the screen to change between them.

Photoshop Touch is just simply not for me. What I'm looking for is a companion for PC like Adobe Nav.

As a professional user, there is never an instant where I need to make juvenile photo edits on the fly.

Android tablet version of Lightroom to make adjustments, only from Basic to Detail modules on the "Right Panel Module", to the RAW's previews/thumbnails on the go and then sync with the desktop version to apply all the changes to the original RAW files.
