Are there plans to have a complete photoshop program for the iPad Pro 12.9?

They've said they're planning to give us all the features in PS that the iPad supports, but I think it's most likely that  doesn't mean they'll be identical to the desktop, and some simply may not be possible, or at least not in the way we're used to.  Also, I think we'd better lower our expectations for the immediate future. This is going to take some time.

But if Affinity could become almost feature-complete, I'm sure Photoshop will get there, too. Don't toss out your desktop in the meantime, though.  '-}

If you're buying new hardware today, I'd make the purchase decision based on what the iPad version can do today.

If it were me, I'd go with a MacBook Air hands down (especially now that it's available with 16Gb of RAM and up to 2TB of storage).

If there happens to be a money tree growing in your back yard, you could, of course, use an iPad with a MacBook Air (or maybe that should be the other way around).  So, the iPad can be an extended desktop as well as a stand-alone device as needed.
