I get this msg when opening LR. LR continues to function but I'm unable to create a Slide Show. Don't know if these are related. I'm hoping when I hit Continue I'm given an opportunity to upload the error message. Now I'm finding I can't upload a screen shot. Don't understand that! So I'm taking a picture of the error msg.

Hi Doug,

I am not sure if the video export engine has been damaged on your PC. Can you help to test this scenario as below?
1, Download the test video file from the shared url (http://adobe.ly/1QyRBOC), and then import this video file into Lightroom.
2, Switch to the "Library" module, select the video file, and then select the menu item "File-> Export..." to export the video.
3, Observe if the video file could be exported without any hang problem?

Thanks,
Yuhong

Would it be possible that you uninstall your Lightroom 6.3 completely and reinstall it without installing any 3rd-party plugin and test one more time?

> uninstall your Lightroom 6.3 completely
That means running "Appications/Adobe Lightroom/Uninstall Adobe Lightroom". Once that completed, trash the entire folder "Appications/Adobe Lightroom/". Then reinstall Lr CC 2015.3 from scratch. See http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2013/06/keeping-lightroom-up-to-date.html#lrcc2015.

Just checking. I assume I'll be able to open the last catalog used and all will be there.....just a little apprehensive.

Uninstalling Lightroom would not affect your catalog. Just note that your current catalog is located at /Users/douglasrohrer/Lightroom/Lightroom Catalog.lrcat according to your system info.

I tried using your link for a download and update and got this msg.
So I went to Adobe and am currently downloading a LR CC trial. Hopefully I'll be able to activate with my Adobe password.

It says it's Downloading but it's been almost an hour. I checked with my Cloud and it shows blank.

It's been hours now and all it says is 'Downloading Now'. There's no indication of anything downloading, no progress wheel/bar, no nada. Nothing seems to be happening. I'm headed for bed and we'll see if anything is there in the morning. If not, can you give me a link to download LR CC?

Just curious, have you applied the Lr 6.3 patch in Victoria's link? Just want to make sure the version that you are indeed running the latest Lr 6.3/Lr 2015.3. Essentially what you need to do to get the latest Lr 6.3 release is going to https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-downloads.html as suggested by Victoria. 1) Download and install the "Application Installers" for Lightroom 6.0 (Lightroom CC 2015); 2) Then, download and install the patcher installer for the desired Lightroom dot release (Lightroom 6.3/CC 2015.3) on top of the baseline Lightroom 6.0 (Lightroom CC 2015) from the step 1.

Lightroom's system info dialog should tell you which version that you are currently running.

Hi Doug,

BTW, please make sure you have removed the "config.lua" file from the folder (/Users/***USER_NAME**/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/). It will stop writing log files.
