I intend to buy Lightroom 4 in combination with Photoshop Elements 10. For testing purposes i downloaded the trial versions of both products and installed them on my macbook pro with OS X 10.7.3. Now i have the following problems:
( 1 ) during the installation of PSE 10 it is not possible to install PSE 10 Editor only. In combination with Lightroom 4 i don't need PSE 10 Organizer. Can the installation procedure be modified or is there an list wich files can be deleted?
( 2 ) the integration of PSE 10 Editor in Lightroom 4 doesn't work. I configured the settings as shown in the help documentation, but nothing happens.
( 3 ) during the installation procedure of PSE 10 Adobe Air is also been installed. Is it needed for the PSE 10 Editor or for the Organizer?
Thanks for any help.

1) If you want the editor only, you can get this from the Mac app store:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-...

2) "Edit in" had an issue with the initial 4.0 release of Lightroom. This problem is corrected in 4.1: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/li...

3) It's needed for Community Help and Inspiration Browser, which aren't a part of the Mac App Store release. (see #1 above)

Hello Jeffrey,
thank you for these helpful answers.

I read some user comments at the German Mac App store (the link above belongs to the US Mac App store). The PSE 10 Editor from the Mac App Store seems to have some Problems, so that i would prefer to install the full version first and delete the organizer afterwards. Wich files of the full installation of PSE 10 (german version for Mac) can be deleted? Respectively, wich files and folders belong to the editor and are necessary?
