My hard drive died and I had to get a new hard drive. Can I install CS4 ( the version of Photoshop I was using ( an upgrade) or do I have to go back and first install the very first version of Photoshop I had ( which was 5 or 6 and then put all the other versions on before I can install CS4?

My hard disk died and I have to install all my programs on a new hard drive. I was using an upgrade of CS4 on my old hard drive. To install CS4 on my derive do I have to go back and start with my first Photoshop version ( which was 5 or 6) or can I just install CS4 on my new drive.

If you are installing an Upgrade version of Photoshop, after you enter your serial number, if a previous qualifying version is not detected on the system, it will prompt you to enter the serial number for the previous version. It will not be necessary to reinstall the older version(s).
