You get the error when installing? Or after installation when you try and launch Elements?

Are you launching elements via the dock or spotlight? Or are you going into Applications>Photoshop Elements>Support Files>Photoshop Elements 14 Editor

I suspect what's happening is Elements is launching from a backup or clone of your boot drive. Do you have a Carbon Clone, SuperDuper or Time Machine volume mounted?

Yesterday, I could install Photoshop Elements 14 on another Mac, with OSX 10.10 System (Yosemite)... No problem !
