PHOTOSHOP 14.2.1: Info panel displays wrong selection size

The info panel reports a different selection size that does not match the actual selection.

For example, when selecting a 10px by 10px area using the Rectangular Marquee tool, the reported selection size in the info panel is 12px by 12px. The correct size is reported during the selection, but as soon as the mouse is released the selection size changes to the incorrect version.

The problem applies to other selection tools as well. When using the Elliptical Marquee tool, for example, each dimension is off by 6px.

Which specific version of Photoshop are you using? (check Help -> System Info)

That does sound like a bug that I thought got fixed a good while back...

Huh. I did not realize that Photoshop CC 2014 was a separate app. The problem seems to be fixed in the new version.
