Photoshop CS5: Incorrect Pixel Dimension shows in CQ5 When Batch Processing

I have a problem with batch processing.

I take a set of print resolution images and run them through a batch in Photoshop (CS5) to create web resolution copies. Then I copy the files over to the Digital Asset Manager in AEM. The new files retain the legacy pixel dimensions.

For example if the original image was 4171 x 2783 and I run the following process:
Image > File Size > 72 dpi > Constrain Proportion > 600 px

The new file is 600 x 399 (The correct dimensions are clearly shown in Bridge)

Then in Bridge I copy both the print and web images over to the DAM on our AEM server via Adobe Drive.

The problem I have is that the "legacy" pixel dimensions are showing up in the DAM even though the actual file size is dramatically smaller. When I add those assets to an Asset Share the incorrect/larger file size is what's showing.

As described, that sounds like Photoshop is doing the right thing, and CQ5 is not updating the dimensions correctly.
