Lightroom Classic: Incorrect Export Dimensions

Lightroom Classic 7.3.1 on Windows 10

The Export dialog panel allows us to configure the filename of the image being exported, using specialized tags like Filename, Sequence Number, and Dimensions.

Unfortunately, the Dimensions tag always seems to provide the original image dimensions, no matter what the actual dimensions are for the image being exported.

I can't imagine how this is useful to anyone. Please change it to record the actual Dimensions of the image being stored in the file, not the dimensions of some other image that is not in the file.

Or, in case there are people who use this peculiar behaviour, at least provide a new ExportDimensions tag that we can use in the name of an exported file to include the actual as-exported dimensions in the filename.

Thanks.

Hi Rob,

If you are interested in Cropped Dimensions, you can use the tag "Cropped", available along with Dimensions.

Brilliant. Don't know how I missed that one. Thanks so much,
