Hello,
I can not install Adobe Creative Cloud CC or Photoshop on my Mac with OSX 10.10 (Yosemite).
Are you expected to fix this incompatibility?

Yes, at some point. Yosemite Mac OS X 10.10 is still in beta and not an officially supported OS at this time.

Workaround:
On Yosemite, go into the Safari preferences and click on the “Advanced” tab, then enable the developer menu. Once you do this, go to the creative.adobe.com website, sign in and right before clicking the “Download” link, go to the “Develop” menu and choose “User Agent -> Safari 7.0”. This will cause the page to refresh, sending the user agent string for Safari 7 on Mavericks. Click the "Download” link and it will download and install properly.
Again, all bets are off until Yosemite is officially released. Once it's officially released we will give guidance on compatibility.

I don't have the option of changing to safari 7.0 - however, I found the user agent string for 7, and it still wouldn't work. Is there any other work around?

I have Photoshop CS5.1 and have newly installed Yosemite 10.10. This new OS X version from Apple has rendered Photoshop CS5 useless. CS4 does work, but with a wild zoom (in and out) function. When is Apple or Adobe going to fix this incompatibility of the OS X and Adobe PS problems. Help is needed...NOW! I have also been very disappointed with the Adobe's desire to sell upgrades to the exclusion of simple customer support of fixes like the one listed.
There are simply too many "sales" windows with little or no practical windows webpages to solve problems--to many questions to read--not enough direct answers. Adobe needs to get over their overprotection of their software to where they more simply help existing customers. I've had PS since Photostyler, and have upgraded from version 2 all the way up to CS5 Suite, so I cannot be accused of not being a faithful user. The price tags of new purchases and customer services are just too high for the average user of which I am an example.
I love PS's versatility, but would appreciate more help on solving bug fixes like this one. Please help!

Hi Donald, what is your specific issue with Photoshop CS5 and Yosemite? It should more or less work. There is a known issue where the OS update corrupts the Photoshop CS5 install, but reinstalling Photoshop should fix this problem. Details here:
An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit. | Mac OS: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/u...
Let me know if that solves your problem.
