Camera Raw: Incompatibility of Camera Raw 6.6 and Nikon V1 firware update 1.1?

I just updated to Camera Raw 6.6 and I updated the firmware on my Nikon V1 to version 1.1.

I shot a concert last night with the V1, capturing raw NEF files. They open in bridge, but when I take them into Camera RAW and make adjustments, they do not seem to be applied when I go back to Bridge. The xmp file is made. When I reopen the NEF in Camera Raw, none of the previous adjustments are applied.

I can open and adjust V1 NEFs that I shot before the firmware upgrades just fine. Any ideas?

When I look at the File Info, I see that the xmp Creator Tool is now ver. 1.1 instead of ver. 1.0.

Thanks

It wouldn't be surprising that the firmware change modified the RAW files so that they no longer respect the XMP sidecars. Can only find out by testing. We'll get the team to take a look.

Brett,

Thanks for the reply. I was planning on uploading two V1 images, one before upgrades and one taken after, but they are obviously NEFs, which will not upload from this application. If you need them, I can Dropbox them.

Happy New Year! Sorry about the late reply, but I took a bit of extra time off for the holidays to be out-of-state with family.

I talked with our engineers and they are not seeing the same behavior after updating the firmware. So we would like to see your files. Go ahead an send them to me (or details for obtaining them by other method) to bnemecek [AT] adobe [DOT] com.
