In Lightroom 5 images display fuzzy

There is an issue where images displayed in LR5 (either in Library or Develop) are slightly fuzzy, as compared to viewing same image in Canon Zoom Browser or Windows7 Photo Viewer. In LR5 an image was fuzzier by an amount as if I moved the Sharpness from 75 to 50.

I have only 5 days left in my trial. If this issue can't be solved, I would be reluctant to purchase LR5.

Could you let me know why the images in LR5.2 are slightly fuzzy?

Here are my troubleshooting steps. I eliminated as many variables as I could to narrow down the issue.

I have Windows-7 PC (Intel I-7 quad core, 8Gb mem, SSD drive, with 1 monitor (DEL U2412).

1. Took a raw image taken with Nikon D80
2. In LR5 converted and exported RAW image to jpeg file.
3. De-installed LR5, removed any left over directories and files on C: drive.
4. Re-Installed LR5

5. Opened jpeg image (from step 2) in LR5, Canon Image Brower 6.6, Win-7 Photo Viewer
Note: all other things are the same (PC-settings, Monitor, image file, etc). Only difference is the viewer used.

6. The image sharpness in Canon ZB, and Win-7 PV was the same - tack sharp.
But the same jpeg image as viewed in LR5.2 was slightly fuzzy (by an amount as if sharpness decreased by 25).
