PHOTOSHOP: In RGB Color Mode EVERYTHING is BLACK (out of date video card driver)

Every time I open a new file, or an existing file in the RGB color mode, all I see is black. In the layers panel, the correct thing shows but I can't see it on screen. If I change the color mode to CMYK, everything shows up correctly!

This JUST started happening and is so frustrating I'm re installing CS5.5 if this can't be fixed TODAY.

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website. If you cannot update the driver for some reason, disable GPU support in Photoshop until you can get a driver that fixes the bugs in the driver.

That worked!

FYI, I'm running an Intel HD 2500 and had no problems until the last PS CC 2014 update.

Yep, we increased our usage of some GPU APIs, and encountered bugs in out of date drivers (more recent drivers have had these bugs fixed for a while).
