In Photoshop CC 2017 I have pressed something now all paragrpah features are greyed out (justification etc.) it was working fine but now I can not change it.

Really frustrating. I have ensured that it is paragraph text and I don't know what to do.

Any thoughts?

Is the Type layer selected? If so go to Menu> Type and click on 'Convert To Paragraph Text.'

Hi Ross,

Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?  Unless you rasterized the text layer, even if you have point text, the alignment options in the Paragraph panel should remain active and available.  Are you sure the text layer is still editable?

Thanks,
David

Hey guys,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have attached the screenshot here.

It is paragraph text, still editable, not rasterized and paragraph text.

Hi Ross,

It looks from here like you're in an invalid state.  Could you do a screenshot where I can see the full screen?  Or we can do a web-hosted screenshare and I can walk you through trouble-shooting this.

Thanks,
David

None of the Paragraph settings are selectable. Create a new PS document insert a text box, add text, and see if those options are selectable. If not selectable your PS Preferences file may be corrupt. Reset the Preferences file as outlined at the below link:

If you can select those Paragraph settings in a new document then your current document may be corrupted.
