In Photoshop 2020 v21, when we crop an image with multiple layers, it causes a curved text layer to have its curve angle changed.

Can you please post a file that exhibits this behavior when cropped? (dropbox/CC files)

Not able to reproduce. What we need is the original PSD before crop.

Howdy Ryan,

How did you warp that text -- the command or is it on a path?  Are you on Windows?  Do you have this problem with other files?  Were there other things you did to the font/document other than cropping?  Could the text box originally have been outside the bounds of the new document?

I've tried this a couple of times this morning with different documents and couldn't repeat what you're seeing.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I took a closer look at the file.  It was created in the previous version of Photoshop.  When I selected the text layer to see how it was warped, the text appearance changed like it did when the image was cropped.  This new version of Photoshop indicates that the text is warped with the flag style.  I'm not sure if that was how we originally warped it or if this is how the new version of Photoshop is rendering it as the appearance changes upon selecting to edit the layer.

Thank!
