In LR,  map modules, the contrast between the field text and the text is so bad, in OSX this text can't be readable ! Show the fields "Sous-emplacement, ville, Région, Pays, Code de pays ISO, etc..."  black on dark grey this is not a good idea :(

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Lightroom Map module displays the info in black on dark grey on MacOS 10.10 Yosem....

OSX 10.10, LR 5.6

Since the update OSX Yosemite, Lightroom Map module displayed the information of location in black on dark gray and it's unreadable!.

I'll be back tonight on the map module... OSX 10.10 LR 5.6.

There is a problem... when placing photos on the map, normal behavior, location information displayed in the fields provided for this purpose... We believe that they are not because the contrast is not correct, just double-click on the titles of the fields and they appear in white! Enlarge the screen-shot below. Then the question is how to increase contrast? (Sorry Microsoft translation !)

Agreed -- it's a very poor design by Adobe.  The fields are more readable on Windows.

Note that these dark fields represent address "suggestions" provided by LR based on GPS coordinates. You can "commit" those fields one-by-one by clicking on their label (City, Country, etc.); committed fields appear in white and are much easier to read.

Unfortunately, you can't commit all the fields of multiple photos all at once, a glaring omission that many have complained about: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom_improve_control_over_reverse_geocod...

However, the Any Tag plugin provides a free feature for committing the locations of many photos at once.
