Photoshop: "Adjustment Gallery" for improving the workflow for adjustments

I've found that retouching and adjusting images in Photoshop can get quite tedious, when you're not sure exactly what to change. There are a lot of different options in the adjustments menu, so why not combine all of them into an "Adjustment Gallery" like with the filters, and the blur galleries. That way, it would be much easier to see in real time how the different adjustments interact with each other, possibly also allowing for hiding specific adjustments, so you can compare how it would look when you hide some of them, letting the user tweak and compare, rather than having to go through trial and error, while also speeding up the process by getting rid of the need to switch between so many adjustment boxes.

Quite frankly it seems Adjustment Layers already provide much of what you are requesting.
