Photoshop: improve brush preset functionality

2 main things. 1. Make the brushes more usable and more easily customizable by having an option to SAVE the brush setting tweaks you do on an existing brush... instead of having to make NEW brush preset, there could be a button to save over what you have. ALSO a way to pull up the brush tip of a designated brush, edit it slightly and save it back to the brush preset. Right now you can't re-edit the brush tip once it's saved. You can't tweak a brush to taste once it's made, you just have to keep making new brush presets and then going to your brush preset menu to find the damn thing and put it back up where you want it. 2nd thing that would be nice is putting clipping masks ON EXISTING clipping masks. Just like how you can have 2 levels of layer masks, 2 or 3 levels of clipping masks would be great!

Thanks for listening!

Please post one idea per topic, so people can discuss and vote on them independently.

There are several reasons why presets are PRE-SET. If you could modify presets as you used them, you could never rely on them, nor could they be used for scripting. When you have a brush setting that you like, you save it.

Hi Shaddy,

This site works best if ideas are separated out individually so users can comment and vote on each one separately.

Please read this topic.

It's important to:

1. Not create topics that are laundry lists of ideas. Create a separate topic for each idea so users can vote and comment on individual ideas. If you do create a topic that's a laundry list of random ideas, community admins will mark it as "Not Planned" and ask you to separate out your ideas.
2. Do a search to see if your idea has already been submitted and add your vote/comments to existing topics before creating a new one. For example: Ability to update/edit brush presets has already been asked for: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...

Thanks.
