When I try to import photos from my camera I only see one thumbnail on the dialog box. I understand that there should be a box for "advanced options" to show thumbnails of all the photos on the card, but I don't have this choice. Help! Rimcutter

Which application are you using to import the photos?

Thanks for the response. I am using Elements 8 Organizer. I click on "file >get photos and videos>from camera or card reader". I do not get the "advanced options" button. My neighbor has Elements 7 and he gets the button. It is very inconvienent to not be able to view the photos before downloading. I end up with a bunch of unwanted photos. I'm pretty sure that it is a disc problem. Adobe won't help me because they only support Elements 9 and Dell won't send me a new disc because it is a "software problem".

I don't have the option "Show APD Dialog (Advanced)". I only have "Show APD Dialog (Standard)" and "Automatic Download". Boy - it sure sounded like a good idea. Thanks. Do you think I have a bad disc?

It's actually set to 1680x1050. I don't know where I got 1280x1024.

It worked!!! I reduced the font size from 150 to 100%. Thank you so much. I really like this feature. Elements 7 worked on this computer with 150%. Strange. I am in your debt.

why is the Advanced Dialog button removed from the Organiser Photodownloader? I am using a screen resolution 1366x768. Someone said it has to do with the screenresolution. But Why? The button wasn't blocking anything and the other buttons on the same line are still there so there was absolutely no reason to remove the Advanced Dialog button. I always used it to select which pictures I wanted to import from my camera. There is now no other way. Perhaps there is a hidden Ctrl key combination for the Advanced Dialog? (in the Help they still mention the Advanced Dialog button)
