what do you do to import photos that won't import due to import error? Using elements 13 and I am a long time user...It will take the edited photo into the editor once I go to a folder to retrieve it but will not import into organizer.

Does it give a specific error? Could you share one of the files you can't import? (dropbox or other sharing service)

Sorry that this was upside down. My problem now is that I can't import any photos into the organizer! I tried loading photos from my photo card and it went through all the steps to import them and then I got the above error. . . Nothing was imported. The file or folders selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the file are already in this catalog....which they are not already in the catalog. Also, I can go to the file and edit it in the editor but then it doesn't go into the organizer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was wondering about uninstalling and re installing but I have so many effects that I have added that would need to be redone if I do that and it is time consuming.

I had this same error. I am using Windows 8.1. The folder is a local synced version of a Google Drive folder.
