Lightroom Classic: Import preset per catalog

I manage several catalogs (mine and 2 photo-clubs)
My own catalog uses an import preset correcting lens defaults (RAW files); but, unless I remember to disable it, the same preset is used in the other catalog  where I manage the jpeg files of photo-clubs, sometimes resulting in loss of pixels and image distortion.
It would be nice to remember the last import preset PER CATALOG.
The same applies to the last used import path.
The import metadata presets per catalog would also be great...

You can store presets with catalogs and these presets are in a local location and not the global location.  Available only to the catalog that they are stored adjacent to.

In the "Presets" tab under "Preferences", enable the option to store presets with the catalogue.

Do this for each of your catalogs:

I'm not sure if that would work. Lightroom does not remember the last chosen import preset, it remembers the last chosen import settings. That means that it can (and probably will) still select the 'wrong' destination, even when you save your presets with the catalog.

Thanks for the replies; I had overlooked the "set presets per catalog", which solves my biggest problems (develop preset and metadata preset).
The only -minor- remaining trouble is remembering the last used import path per catalog.

I have experienced another problem, seemingly known as "zombie keywords", which, for some reason cannot be deleted (probably a software bug). I temporarily move them to a dummy "z" keyword.
But it surely would be nice if we could import new pictures without their keywords.
Happy 2018 to everybody.
