Lightroom: Ability to import Apple Photos Library (like iPhoto/Aperture import)

Lightroom needs to be able to import Apple Photos libraries (exactly like importing iPhoto or Aperture library) keeping the tagging, folders, etc.

I moved my Aperture/iPhoto library to Photos...then a couple of months later, decided I wanted to use Lightroom. But my old iPhoto library is gone (and wouldn't have the last several months of work in it.) And my only option seems to be to import my photos to Lightroom (75k of them) and resort, refile, retag, etc. them....

I have the same question. I wouldn't say this is a problem, but it can bee annoying if I want to edit a bunch of pictures from my Apple Photos library in Lightroom CC 2015.9.

Greetings,

The Lightroom CC family of products was updated today and contains support for this feature (Mac only). Please download the new version and give it a try and let us know how it works.

Note: Lightroom Classic CC does not have this feature.
