The plugin to import from iPhoto/Aperture should import image adjustments, as well.

How would you like them to do that? Since iPhoto/Aperture use different sliders and algorithms, they wouldn't translate directly to Lightroom's sliders, so they'd end up looking different even if Lightroom attempted a translation.

The plug-in could potentially apply to image adjustments to the photos, creating JPEG files that are identical to the way they looked in iPhoto/Aperture - would that satisfy you?

Unfortunately, I have no idea how they could do that. Of course, that's why the engineers get paid the big bucks. I imagined this as being two different languages for interacting with the images and hoped that there might be a way of translating between the two whereby a change of "x" in exposure in Aperture, for example, was equivalent to "y" in Lightroom. If it is simply a question of algorithms, mathematically it should be possible to find a third algorithm to link the two.

I believe the plug-in is already capable of importing the modified image from Aperture as a high-resolution preview, which is better than nothing, but my library is approaching 300 GB, so I'd rather not have it double in size.
