I have several picture sources of casual pictures that could be cleared up and improved on if I can find an easy way to split up the collages that they are presented in. Is there a way to do this without having to copy each collage multiple times for each picture in it?

Photoshop has a feature to split up multiple photos scanned in one pass but I think it depends on there being whitespace between the photos. Not sure if your collages have that but take a look at this tutorial, it may be of help.

In Lightroom you import one time and use the virtual copy function to create a virtual copy for each portion of the full image that you want to export as an individual image. Then you can use the crop function to isolate each individual image within the collage of images
