My images are not being saved in jpeg. I can't find the edited images I downloaded when I'm trying to upload to tumblr! (This is my second time posting this, my question was lost the first time!)

Jeffrey, I can see the other discussion, I'll be closing it, so that everybody only answers here.

Hi Jeffrey

Are you on Mac? When saving your images, be sure to add the .JPG extension, so that your browser or other apps can see the file type for what it is, and allow you to upload it to your other site or service

No, I'm not on a mac!! I figured it out for myself since you guys took so long to answer. Only now, the images I edit, won't save at all when downloaded!! I'm sure I'll end up figuring out a solution for this myself by the time someone from adobe responds.

Jeffrey,

Sorry about the delay. Often, employees you find here on the forums are like me, working on product development teams and volunteering time to help users, and we have to balance our time differently than regular Support folks.

I tried to reproduce the issue you describe, but I can't. I can upload and edit JPG and PNG images, and download them successfully back to my Windows desktop using the 'Download' button in either My Library, or also My Gallery (if Download permission is enabled in Share settings). I'm using Internet Explorer on Windows 7.

Can you elaborate on some details that would better help us help you?
- If this occurs in My Gallery, can you try downloading via My Library (http://www.photoshop.com/tools/organi..., or vice versa?
- What OS and browser are you using?
- When you attempt to download your images, do you know where they're being saved (eg., Downloads folder) ? Does your browser allow you to choose the download location? If not, can you enable this in browser preferences?
- What are the exact steps you're performing?
