Lightroom/Photoshop: Images from LR4 > edit in PSCS6 don't match

When I transfer an image from LR4.1 to PSCS6Extended, the blacks are clipped (way) too much in LR4.1

LR 3.7 did not have this problem (as much: Using LR3, I see a slight difference, mainly in noise character)

I'm comparing the image in LR develop module to PSCS6, at 100% view.
Monitor is an Eizo CG223W, calibrated to native gamut.
OSX 10.6.8

I think so, yes. But I'll have to double check.
Not that it should matter, since the image is rendered by LR4.1, right?

I'm hitting CmdE in LR.

Only if LR's passing a TIFF/PSD file (i.e. you've selected Render Using Lightroom in an ACR mismatch dialog or set PS as the secondary editor).

If you select Open Anyway, or you've dismissed that mismatch dialog, then LR will pass the raw data and the settings over to ACR to render and open directly.

Ah yes. Of course.

Checked, and ACR is 7.1, so it's up to date.
So I shouldn't get a mismatch dialog, and ACR7.1 should render identical as LR4.1, right?

Yes, it should. If it's not, then we have a bug.

Did a bit more comparing: Appears the bug is in the images are displayed.
The image rendered by LR 4.1 (exported) is identical to the one rendered in ACR7.1 (either through LR or straight via ACR). Difference is caused by LR clipping blacks for display or PS showing to much shadow detail.

PSCS2 and PSCS4 display the same, LR4.1 and preview display the same.

I don't know which to trust, but I tend to trust PS a bit more...

LR 4.2 still has this bug. Any news?
