Photoshop CC 2019: Images and layers are glitchy and cut off

Often when I am working with a layer or text object, parts of the object get cut off or appear glitchy and this has been causing a MAJOR problem for my workflow. If I export the image, it shows up correctly, but having things disappear or cut off while I'm working on them, makes it impossible to see what I'm doing.

You can get an idea from the image below. The image on the right is showing up correctly, but the image on the left is cut off in the areas circled.

I've noticed this on all the 2019 updated versions of Photoshop.

Hi Joshua,
We're so sorry to hear about this impedance to your workflow.  Can you try enabling Preferences -> Performance -> Legacy Compositing to resolve your issue?

Let us know if Andrew's workaround works. If we could get a copy of your file and system info, that may help with troubleshooting

I went back to photoshop CC 2018 for a month and am not switching back to 2019. Enabling the Legacy Compositing seems to have helped for now. I'll post again if the problem persists though.

I have the same problem and it is incredibly frustrating. I need to move objects around one pixel at a time to find a place where they don't get cut. Please fix this asap!

A fix is on the way. The workaround in the meantime is to go to Preferences > Performance... and check Legacy Compositing and restart Photoshop.
