Photoshop CS6: Image Processor issues for Mountain Lion (MacOS 10.8)

Since upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion, our ability to run Image Processor in Photoshop fails. It opens but doesn't close each image, attempts to save the files but doesn't.

I'd say it's a permissions and network issue, based on what I've read. Please talk to each other Adobe and Apple and figure out what's changed and make a fix??

Thanks,

Are you writing the results to a file server, or a local disk? (we know about an OS bug when writing to SMB volumes on 10.8)

It's another computer's hard-drive that is shared on the network. Don't know much else about what SMB means etc, sorry...

SMB is a protocol used to communicate with file servers, especially Windows file servers and most enterprise (non-desktop) file servers.

So I suspect you're seeing errors due to the SMB bug in MacOS 10.8.

We haven't heard back from Apple yet, but they are aware of the problem.

I have this problem. Although I click Select Open First Image To Apply Settings, all the images just fly by in quick succession and I can't make any changes. In view of the cost of my new Imac (and Photoshop) it's really quite annoying!
