PHOTOSHOP - Image Processor Distorting Images

Using the image processor in Adobe Bridge/Photoshop used to be the perfect way for me to resize a large number of images. Now whenever I used it on a folder, it resaves every image to 2400x225 pixels no matter what its original dimensions were.

Image Processor is set to save them in the same folder as a JPEG at quality 12. No other options are selected, and no dimensions have been filled in.

Which version of Photoshop are you using?
Did you check the options in Image Processor to resize the image?

I am using Photoshop CC 2015 1.1 currently, but experienced the same thing with the update before as well.

I don't have the resize options selected. Here's a screenshot of my settings, if that helps.

Weird, unless resize to fit is selected, the script won't do any resizing...

Yeah, I've never run into this issue before, I know it shouldn't be distorting them this way. I'm guessing it's a bug since it's affecting my coworker too.

Hi there,

Did you manage to resolve this? I've just got the same issue happening - fine this morning, but now images are distorted.

I uninstalled Photoshop (and cleared the Photoshop preferences) then reinstalled. Been chugging along since then! Hope it works for you too, it was so frustrating. :)

Just trashing the preferences worked for me, thankfully. It's a work computer so reinstalling would have been a bit of a drama!

Thanks for the info.
