Lightroom Classic: Please add "Fill Edges" to Perspective Correction

Whenever there's a perspective shift, you lose corners of the photograph. It would be great if there was an attempt to fill that area.

They now have such a feature in Classic but only for Merge to Panorama.  Can't imagine it would be that much of a stretch to expand to the case you mention other than the amount of area could be much larger.

It's such an obvious next step after Panorama that I'd be surprised if Adobe didn't plan to do it.

There are some engineering challenges. The panorama case is easier since in the process it generates a new DNG so that the fill edges only need to run once. There is not much downside from the speed point of view.

I hadn’t considered that. Definitely an issue. Maybe generate the fill for the most extreme perspective corrections then when I apply corrections within that space it’s purely crop?
