Idea: Feather option for the Patch Tool

I'm sure it's been suggested before, but it would be nice to have an option for setting a feather on the Patch tool. Having a completely unfeathered edge on a selection is rarely desirable. As of now, I use the Lasso tool to draw out a selection with a feather value before switching back to the Patch tool to use its Content-Aware capabilities. Either that or I switch to Quick Mask Mode, use the Gaussian Blur filter to feather the mask, then exit Quick Mask Mode and use the Patch tool. Either way, a feather option would cut out these extra steps.

Easy mistake to make. And yes, but it's not quite the same. Thanks though. I appreciate the input.

The thing about using Structure and Color with Content Aware is they've made the amounts adjustable. Not exactly the same thing as feathering, but most typically, I think I get better results than I do from a normal feather—that is, one that is always the same width all the way around. The content aware does it's magic, using more or less blending according to my adjustments to Structure and Color. Feathering doesn't always look so natural or make the color blend so accurately. For me, there's been less clean up since they introduced that.
