Hello Adobe,

I need to make circle crops as easy as it is to do rectangular / square crops in LR. Please add it to upcoming versions of LR. From my limited research there is not an easy way to do it with the current photo software on the market.

I need simple! I can use LR pretty good, but don't not use Photoshop or any other complex computer methods. I am an old film photog from the stone age. I am able to do what I did in the wet darkroom on LR...crop, contrast, burn and dodge...but that is it. (OK, I also do some beloved hyper-real HDR street photography with Photomatix.)

I have a lot of circular fisheye images that need to have all the black background cropped out. I want to be left with only the circle image. Sometimes I may wish to crop the actual fisheye image as well into a smaller circle.

Here is a sample of a low res, out of the cam jpeg image that needs to be cropped into a circle.

The crop should work the exact same way that it does for rectangular crops in LR. Have a circle pop up and be able drag the line to expand or contract the crop circle.

While your at it, please add an oval crop available as well. If you don't want to add this to LR, then make a software add-on called 'Crop Circles.' Have all sort of geometric shapes as well as the humble circle and oval crop on the software.

Best Regards,
