I Love Lightroom Vignettes

After recent comparison with NIk's ColorEfexPro3's vignettes, I couldn't help but notice that the Lightroom vignettes are far more pleasing.

Kudos for the awesome vignette improvements in Lr3!

PS - FWIW, I often use a combination of gradients and brushes to augment the built-ins, or instead of the built-ins for completely custom edge vignetting...

It would be a nice touch to be able to bias the center point and stuff like that, but I ain't complaining.

Biasing the centre point would be nice. At present I use a large brush to create off-centered vignettes but then I only have brightness / exposure controls rather than the more intelligent highlight / colour priority modes in the vignette tool.

But if you had tone-curve and hsl available for those local brushes... ;-}

Hello all -

I am currently working on creating a UI design which attempts to address some of the ideas and discussions you all are having in regards to the post-crop vignette feature in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. During my research, this topic (among others) are helping to inform the future design ideas of the post-crop vignette.

Firstly, I just wanted to thank you all for contributing to the forum and sharing some great information and ideas.

Secondly, I wanted to share my progress with the project. It can be seen on Behance here http://on.be.net/1ADdZAa. At the time of this writing I am exiting the Research/Discovery phase and getting started on the Design Phase. If you have any comments or feedback, I would love to hear it.

Thanks for your time.
Nate
