adjustment brush is not working!

Most common reason for adjustment brush "not working" is density and/or flow too low - make sure both are cranked up..

Amin, try using a few more words, for example, "In Lightroom 5.5 on Windows 7, when I select the adjustment brush set to exposure -2, size 25, feather 0, flow 100, density 100, and I paint on the photo, nothing appears. If I turn on the overlay by pressing the O key, it still doesn't show anything" and also attach a screenshot of your adjustment brush preferences, as Rob has done.
